Rubin & Ed is very hard to find. It has not been put on DVD yet, but the director does have a website, and I think you can order it directly. I do belive you can e-mail him in person too.

Willard is one of my favorite movies! I think it's good without Crispin and one of the best movies ever with him.

For least favorite movie, I would say Bartleby. Don't get me wrong, it's an alright film, but I wish Crispin would have had more lines. :0).

so last night i watched "fast sofa." crispin was great, but couldn't they have afforded a little bit better fake walleyed contact lens? i could see his freakin' real eye underneath that thing.

if i didn't know crispin was in that movie, i probably would've turned it off. (and i'm a big fan of b movies, and have seen my share of direct to the rental bin stuff).

i had to watch the bird store scene twice. it was worth watching the movie just for that scene, really. crucial.

thank you joe! *sheepish smile and uncoordinated curtsy*

i wish i had the chance to see rubin and ed *sigh*

haha... as for like mike.... I hid it in the pile of video and candy i got from Blockbuster... i was sooo ashamed. i saw crispin's name on it and had to check it out. little did i know that he was like a male mrs. hannigan (remember annie??? i am so damn old....).

i agree... i wish he had a bigger role in dead man. Bartleby was fun but you're right in terms of the suck ass attempts at artsy fartsiness.

i did like the crispin scene in the doors.... damn i should have included this in my favorite quote response... the one about having a telephone and talking to god.

did anyone remember him in nurse betty??? i love crispy but that match up was not so good...

has anyone seen little noises? i like that one. i have it on VHS somewhere in the house i think...

Nice job, Charmaine.

I haven't seen all the ones people think are crappy. I like River's Edge, Willard, My Tutor, etc.

Wish he had a bigger role in Dead Man (one of my favorite movies ever) & Wild at Heart. Wish Bartelby wasn't trying so hard to be an "art" film and not really succeeding. Wish that Doors movie didn't suck so bad (except for the peyote scene).

I can't believe you people actually watched Like Mike.

1. damn... i think i have a tie for first... and i will give my reasons...
a) Back to the Future.... this one's awesome cause Crispin is so hot (watching this movie at a young age gave me a predilection for cute dorky guys)
b) My Tutor (for the dominatrix/whorehouse scene and the cheesy music)
2. Like Mike is the Biggest Piece of Crap I've Ever Seen!!!!

Best: Willard, probably because I am biased and raise rats. However, I did find his acting astounding in this one and a few other reasons that are probably too inappropriate to list!

My answers would have to be Rubin and Ed, mainly for the quote "My cat can eat a whole watermelon", and Charlie's Angels 2 for the worst, since they brought his character back just to kill him off again.

I NEVER said that Batrleby was a great film. I said that like Fast Sofa, it was a lot of fun. Bartleby was total eye candy, as far as production design, color, style, etc. Crispin can stand there and looked bored....I can watch him doing anything! What a hottie!

Believe it or not, if you separate the Crispin part from the rest of the movie, you're in for some fine entertainment. He even has a substantial screaming fit in one scene (must be written into his contracts or something). His appearance in the first Chuck's Angels movie made me sad, though. Sorely underused. Of course, I'm sadder to think that I've seen both Charlie's Angels movies. Woe.

the worst: Like Mike. Man that movie sucked ass.
Bartleby was solid. I really wish I could find it for cheap on DVD

Best: Willard. Intensity described: CG staring as the elevator doors slide apart, rats falling off of him, flooding outwards.

Worst: CA 1 & 2. Eeeeee. It gives me the Fear. 'fear' (little 'f') is finding scorpions in your clothing after a nap. Fear (big 'F') is watching talent like his wasted on screenside eye-candy with the acting talent comparable to the starpower of A Flock of Seagulls reunion tour.

Rubin Farr was by far the perfect role for Crispin Hellion Glover. Especially since he did a round-house to David Letterman's head.
